Soundtrack

At the recommendation of my friend Kara (per the post on her Facebook page), I am listening to the soundtrack of my life.

Important...not a playlist, the ENTIRE library.

This is so fun. I know my taste in music is random (this has been confirmed by Mr. Paskin on more than one occassion) and a bit all over the map. So far I've heard The Jayhawks, Blind Boys of Alabama, Supreme Beings of Leisure, Survivor (of Eye of the Tiger) and something from the movie Friday.

a little belated "Happy Valentine's Day" wish

3 years and 6 months

I can't believe how fast time flies when you are having kids, er, I mean, fun! Last week we had our regular well-baby/child check ups for Leighton and for Emrys. (Ironically, both of them were suffering their second head-colds for the season.) Here are some stats!

Leighton @ 3 years

Height 39-3/4" (97%-ile)

Weight 35-1/2 lbs (90%-ile)

Here she is working on some new skills:

Emrys @ 6 months
Length 27-1/4" (75%-ile)

Weight 18lbs 6 oz (74%-ile)

Head Circumference 18-1/2" (97%-ile)

Here is a little bit of trivia about our little Monkey:

1. Surest smiles come from bouncing him, or turning him upside down.
   
2. He is guaranteed to giggle if you press your nose right into his chubby cheeks. He will also try to eat your face and pull the short hairs from your neck/behind your ears. (This is not sure to make mommy giggle.)
3. He has his bottom 2 teeth.
4. Sitting up is his new favorite.
5. He looks great in hats.
